This is a training initiative supported by ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Hyderabad, a rapidly growing Medical College in the state as a Centre of excellence in every field of modern medicine  ESIC Surgical Skills Centre is a flagship initiative by the department of General Surgery to impart simulation-based training and skill development training to post graduate students and even teachers of various surgical disciplines in a laboratory/virtual atmosphere. The main objective of the Centre is to introduce trainees to safe surgical practice in a controlled workshop environment early in their careers.  

• Comprehensive skill courses designed for residents and beginners. 
• Limited number of registrations to ensure adequate hands-on training for each participant and to ensure low trainee – trainer ratio.
• NO FEE FOR THE COURSES!! Candidates will be allotted place on "First come first served" basis. Remaining candidates will be allotted place on next available course. 
• Separate dry and wet labs for conducting endo-trainer sessions and courses involving animal tissues respectively. 
• Mentorship by senior and experienced faculty. 
• Year long schedule of courses for flexible attendance.
